Introduction
Lynchburg’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program features a concentration in community health and is designed to educate professionals who will support and enhance public and community health locally, regionally, nationally and globally. Individuals will gain a foundation in all five areas of public health: health behaviour and education, health services administration, epidemiology, biostatistics, and environmental sciences.
Students will also gain hands-on experience in the field through course projects and internships. Successful graduates are prepared to take the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing Exam and become Certified Health Education Specialists.
