The Master of Public Administration is a program for students ready to devote their careers to serve in the public sector. This is Central Asia’s best program for the study of government, an academic discipline that is well-developed in Europe and the United States. Students learn the specifics of management for government, NGOs, and other non-profit organizations. They receive a high-level background in policy analysis, taking political, social and economic factors into consideration. It is a multidisciplinary program that focuses on organizational governance, finance, human resources, policy affairs, labor relations and other critical issues. Combined with training in statistics and computer software, the program produces highly employable graduates for the public sector.
The Master of Public Administration degree requires 48 credits of coursework. It includes 42 credits of required component courses, 6 credits of concentration and electives courses.
- University degree with a good academic standing
- Passing the KIMEP English Entrance Test (KEET), or holding a certificate of TOEFL or IELTS
