Content and objective of the program
Essential to music theory majors are skills in harmony and voice leading, music analysis and instrumentation, as well as instrument studies. During your master’s studies, you will deepen your understanding of music research and gain more knowledge of your personal research field.

Program Outcome
A student who has completed a Master’s degree is expected to have the competence of an expert professional composer and the ability to undertake other demanding expert duties requiring a profound knowledge of music and to undertake music teaching duties in accordance with his/her orientation; have a broad and context-aware musical education which he/she knows how to leverage in discussions and research in the field.
