Full-time & Part-time Options
The MA-HRIR program is offered in both Full- and Part-time formats to allow students to study full time and to accommodate busy working professionals. No matter which format you choose, the MA-HRIR program offers a comprehensive education.
For students dedicated to graduate studies full time. The program begins in the fall and classes held throughout the day and evening. Students enrol in 12 credits per semester and complete the degree in two academic years. For many students, a full-time summer internship between the first and second year rounds out the program.
Full time program is 2 years.
The Evening HR Masters Programme covers all aspects of Human Resources and Industrial Relations so you can apply what you learn to your current work, and to your future challenges. Our faculty draws on your professional experiences to enrich the classroom experience.
Part-time program is 3-5 years
The Master of Arts in HRIR provides students with a thorough understanding of contemporary practices, underlying theories, and the major areas of human resources and industrial relations, giving them the conceptual basis and analytical framework for successful careers with corporations and public sector organizations.
To provide a rigorous education across the entire field of human resources and industrial relations, the curriculum is structured around 3 core areas and rooted in 3 key concepts from social science, behavioral science, and business. Students take core courses in all 6 of these areas of HRIR.
