Introduction
Train professionals, specialists and researchers, in each area of design, architecture and technologies; in the various dimensions of heritage architecture in its rural and urban context, to understand the development of science applied to the design and construction of vernacular housing, the application, adoption and adaptation of new technologies; in the design with historical, pre-Hispanic, regional and related antecedents to the cultural and social environment of the Mesoamerican cultures of southeast Mexico; in the attention of the requirements that the Oaxacan society, regional and national, demands in and for the architectural and urban solutions of its population centers; to intervene participatively in the workplace and contribute to the detection and possible solution of associated problems, promoting collaboration between professionals and the creation of networks that facilitate the generation, dissemination and application of knowledge by the public, academic and private sector .
