Faced with managing and implementing many of today’s most challenging policies, policy managers need the skills to provide innovative solutions that will be politically and administratively effective. A Master in Policy Management (MPM) trains current and emerging policy leaders in the art and science of policy management, preparing them to lead today’s dynamic policy environment.

WORK EXPERIENCE -- MPM students have, on average, 13+ years of experience.
The 12-class MPM degree is designed to be flexible to meet the needs of full- or part-time students.Full-time students complete their degrees after one summer and two semesters. Part-time participants fulfil the requirements for their degrees over the course of two summers and four semesters.

- Summer Institutes: 4 week-long sessions (4 classes)
- Core semester-long classes (3 classes)
- Capstone Project: 1 class
- Electives: 3 classes
MPM students start the program in the summer with foundational classes. Fall starts are permitted with permission of the faculty. Full-time students can complete the program in one year by participating in four intensive, week-long classes during the summer and four classes during the fall and spring semesters. Part-time students can finish the degree in two years by taking one or two intensive week-long summer courses during their vacations and then by taking two classes in the evenings during the fall and spring.
A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA is required with at least 5 years of meaningful experience.
