Introduction
The inter-institutional postgraduate course arises as a response to the challenge of facing environmental pollution problems with an interdisciplinary approach, proposing solutions with an innovative attitude, optimizing possible alternatives, and having as an organizing principle the philosophy of sustainable development.
The graduate of the PICYT Master's degree has aptitudes and capacity to solve scientific and technological problems in the area of his specialty, through applied research and experimental development processes. You can take part in processes of assimilation, adaptation, design, development, and transfer of technology, collaborating and/or leading interdisciplinary groups dedicated to carrying out technological development projects for the industrial sector, services, educational institutions, or research centers in the country.
To specify this profile, in addition to the aforementioned subjects and activities, graduation requirements are considered: Accumulate a minimum of 140 credits. Approve three seminars for the progress of the terminal project with a minimum score of 8 on a scale from 0 to 10. Present proof of TOEFL (Institutional Test Score Record). With a minimum score of 450 points. Achieve a publication as the first author of at least one article or full report in a national or international outreach congress or in an indexed journal of the Science Citation Index or a journal recognized by the CONACYT index of Mexican Journals of Scientific Research and Technology or the process of registering a utility model or patent before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property.
