Introduction
The Master in Conflict and Peace is a master in deepening. Its main objective is to delve into the multiple approaches, theories, concepts, and practices of both violent and non-violent social, political and cultural conflicts; as well as the various experiences of peacebuilding at the national and international level. Although the program is inspired by the Master of Peace Studies at the University of Bradford (England), it has focused on the Colombian context. In this way, it aims to critically explore and analyze the multiple dimensions and interpretations of the Colombian armed conflict and its various sub-conflicts.
The Master offers a universal theoretical and philosophical look at the phenomenon of human conflicts and the various efforts to resolve them. It explores the main theories and meta-theories, through the analysis of the diverse, and sometimes contradictory, policies for peace implemented within the framework of the Colombian conflict and other global conflicts.
