Introduction
Led by Professor Mohamed Branine, an eminent academic authority in the field of International HRM, this CIPD-accredited programme is focused on contemporary practice ensuring you’ll develop the knowledge, understanding and skills you’ll need to deal effectively, systematically and creatively with the issues and problems of people management that organisations face.
Covering a wide range of HRM strategies, policies and procedures that organisations need to manage their employees in a global context, you’ll also develop an understanding of the differences between HRM practices and employment systems of varying countries and multinational companies, and how they are influenced by economic, political and social factors.
Throughout the programme, you’ll benefit from exposure to industry through live business simulations, working on real-life problems set by Abertay University’s business partners.
You’ll take part in workshops and activities, and share experiences with peers from different countries and organisations, to broaden your knowledge and develop your professional and strategic thinking skills. Our approach to teaching and learning means you’ll have the opportunity to gain a degree and a portfolio of professional practice skills and experience to present to future employers.
