Graduates from MSc in Management will have an understanding of the impact of various forces affecting organisations including legal systems; ethical, economic, environmental, social and technological change issues etc. They will also be prepared to make decisions about their market based on their customers and how to manage the people within an organisation. All in all, the MSc in management sets a graduate up to start their own business or be an important part of another in a variety of management roles.
The MSc in management with the finance pathway is a specialisation, offered in conjunction with the standard management MSc, for those students who wish to focus on the connection between effective, structured management and well-managed finance. Students will be studying financial risk management, financial decision making, the theories behind ‘value-adding’ and other related fields. A specialisation in finance allows students to realise the effect of their management decisions at a financial level.
