The Master of Arts in Sports Communication and Media (SCM) program prepares students for the myriad responsibilities of the sports media profession in the 21st century. SCM students learn the advanced professional skills necessary to communicate effectively across a variety of sports media platforms.
SCM offers two different track options in sports broadcasting (SB) and athletic communications and promotion (ACP). Each track will teach you how to plan, create and distribute multimedia productions for publication and broadcast.
Graduate students in the SCM program will acquire the knowledge and technical skills to pursue careers in the digital world of athletic communications and sports broadcasting while developing a theoretical, aesthetic and historical understanding of the professional communication fields.... [-]

The program is broken into six eight-week modules that offer students a personalized plan of study tailored to their interests and enabling them to master their craft while gaining industry experience.
