The degree meets the demand for theological preparation especially for those individuals active in religious education, lay ministry and youth ministry. The MA in Theology is a thirty-six credit hour program consisting of eleven courses and a capstone seminar focusing on the study of biblical, historical, moral, and systematic theology. Students are encouraged to develop strong research and critical thinking skills as well as an integrated theological vision. The degree provides the foundation necessary for continued study toward a doctoral degree and to be a theological resource for others. THE ROBIN C. FRENCH ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FOR MASTER OF ARTS IN THEOLOGY STUDENTS The Robin C. French Endowed Scholarship is designed to provide financial support for Master of Arts in Theology Program students who demonstrate academic merit and financial need.
