Prizes and Distinctions:

  • 2nd place in Poland in terms of the number of international students and 3rd place in terms of multiculturalism;
  • Silver Certificate in the University of Leaders 2014 competition and the highest distinction in the Top Quality Studies competition in 4th edition of Higher Education Intsitutions Certification Programme University of Leaders 2014; the certification programme assessed both public and private universities;
  • the best university in south-east of Poland and 9th place in the Poland-wide competition according to the Academic Ranking of Polish Universities 2014 - category: master’s degree studies. The ranking, in which 80 universities took part, was conducted by the Perspektywy magazine;
  • 4th place among non-state higher education institutions, whose graduates are most eagerly employed by companies;
  • 5th place in the survey conducted by the Wprost magazine for non-state higher education institutions highly appreciated by employers;
  • Best Local Cisco Academy in Europe;
  • 1st prize for a ‘Flying laboratory’ project in a competition organised by the Polish Information Technology Society;

As graduate you will be familiar with advanced topics of Computer Science, among others, Computational methods, Computer Modelling and Simulation, Computer System Engineering . You will have abilities and skills to support decision making related to ICT technologies.You can choose between two fields of study: • Computer Networks with Cisco courses, • Software engineering with Microsoft and Oracle courses. As a graduate of the computer network programme you will how to design, implement maintenance modern information and communication technologies and tools for managing and utilizing global networks, among others, in business. Master in International Management In addition to general economic knowledge, students learn various aspects of management in the context of international business activity. A creative approach to problem solving in business is developed. Other aspects include: the company and its economic environment, managing company potential, analysis and evaluation of company performance, short-term and long-term strategic decision-making processes. A practical approach to teaching is reflected in the practice oriented coursework: Macroeconomics illustrates basic principles combined with the experience of real life case studies, Operations Research applications are discussed in the context of a real market dilemma in the areas of finance, marketing, and operations management, Statistics course provides a balance between statistics theory and application, Forecast and Simulation are discussed in the context of application to manufacturing, retail, and service industries, Mathematical Economics places emphasis on a substantial amount of interpretation of numerical indicators in the economic context, Introductory Computer Sciences course is organized according to the see-hear-touch approach; lectures are accompanied by workshops in computer labs. Social Policy trains skills in social policy analysis through application of an analytical framework to the existing social policy programs, Business Plan is based on the extensive use of case studies covering various business areas, Negotiations provide students with the applications and special negotiating scenarios (multiple parties, coalitions and teams, cross-cultural negotiations, tacit negotiations and social dilemmas).
