You will gain the knowledge, practical skills and networks to engage in the rapidly changing global marketplace. Career prospects Master of International Business graduates will be well equipped to enter internationally oriented organisations such as exporters, global consumer or industrial goods manufacturers, and trade development and promotion agencies. Degree structure The Master of International Business is an 18-month, 240-point programme studied over six quarters. You will study core business courses before continuing on to a set of specialised International Business courses. You will also complete four professional development modules as an important component of your degree. These will equip you with the professional skills that you will need to enhance your employability and success in the business world. Academic requirements To gain entry you will need to have completed a bachelors degree from a recognised university or learning institution with the equivalent of at least a New Zealand B average in the most advanced courses. This can be either a degree in business or a non-business degree in a relevant discipline such as the arts, engineering, technology, or science. In assessing your application we will take into account the ranking of the institution at which you completed your bachelors degree as well as the grades achieved in the relevant subjects. Career prospects Designed to add value to any bachelors degree, the Master of Management will prepare you for a career in general business. Graduates may find employment in a wide range of positions in the retail, manufacturing or service industries. Degree structure The Master of Management is a 15-month, 180-point programme studied over five quarters. You will study core business courses before selecting from one of four specialisation options in Business, Accounting, International Business or Marketing. You are able to confirm your choice of specialisation at the end of your second quarter of study. You will also complete four professional development modules as an important component of your degree. These will equip you with the professional skills that you will need to enhance your employability and success in the business world.
