Introduction

Pixel is an international education and training institution with a specific expertise in European cooperation and project management.

Pixel was established in Florence (Italy) in January 1999 and has therefore 14 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Organization of international education and training initiatives
  • Direct submission and management of European projects
  • Organization of international events and conferences in the field of education
  • Organization of international study visits, mobility and exchanges

Since 1999, Pixel organizes and deliver international in-service training courses on different topics such as: European cooperation, new technologies for education, innovative educational methodologies, language learning etc. Some of these courses have been delivered in over 30 editions so far. An average of 300 participants, from all over Europe, attend Pixel international courses every year. The international courses organized are addressed to: school teachers, head of schools, university lecturers, trainers, researchers, public officers, managers of education and training organizations etc. Since 2011 Pixel also organizes the international Master on European Project Planning and Management.

At European level, Pixel has developed cooperative agreements and partnerships with over 500 institutions cooperating with Pixel in the organization and management of its activities. Pixel’s European partners are: ministries, universities, schools, regions, provinces, municipalities, training institutions, research centres, cultural institutions, schools, hospitals etc. in over 30 different European countries.

International Master in European Project Planning and Management Methods and Techniques for Planning and Managing The objective of the Master is to provide participants with the skills to successfully work in the field of European cooperation, through the use of funding in education, training, culture, research, development and external cooperation made available by the European Comission. The target group of the Master are graduates in any discipline. The pre-requisites are: university degree and a good knowledge of English. The Master course’s programme is organized in two main modules: - European Project Planning - European Project Management For the organization of the International Master, Pixel cooperates with a number of European Partners who are also very experienced in European cooperation and who are willing to offer an internship to all participants in the Master. The three months internship is an integral part of the Master. It is organized taking into account the profile, needs and expectations of both each participant and each host organization, so as to make the internship experience very beneficial for both.
