MSc European Project and Public Management

Online & Campus Combined Part time October 2017 Austria Graz

EU networking is opening up new possibilities for Austrian companies – as well as presenting new challenges. [+]

Program description The European Union provides a wide range of opportunities for the realization of innovative projects. In order to successfully and efficiently carry out these projects, knowledge and skills for the design, development, administration and implementation of such projects are required. FH JOANNEUM has developed a modular postgraduate master degree to train experts in this field and to provide people with previous experience in the EU project area with more in-depth knowledge. The program is made up of 3 parts: 1. Face-to-face courses are organized on 15 weekends over a period of 3 semesters at the premises of IBSA in Graz, Austria. 2. Face-to-face sessions are normally combined with e-Learning assignments which are expected to be completed within several weeks after the face-to-face class. Grading usually includes active participation and take-home exams. 3. A study trip to Brussels provides first-hand experience and knowledge on relevant topics of the program and is organized during the second semester. Career Prospects Graduates of the program will take up a variety of managerial roles in EU-funded projects in all industries. With an ever increasing concern for quality control in EU projects, institutions demand highly qualified employees and experts in these fields. EPPM graduates are thus able to take up the challenge as an opportunity to realize innovative and trendsetting ideas for the organization.
