SELECT aims at delivering high quality engineering skills in the field, including training in business and innovation. Programme outline Sustainable energy services is one of the key issues for humanity, considering the complete environmental footprint for the services delivered. The programme starts from the concept of basic renewable energy sources (sun, wind, geothermal) and considers the pathways towards a future sustainable energy system. The curriculum rests on a strong foundation in thermal sciences, emphasising the thermodynamic tools of exergy and thermoeconomic analysis. The programme is operated by a consortium consisting of seven universities and their associated industry partners.
