EDUCATIONAL GOALS The degree course in Managerial Economics takes as specific objectives the set of theoretical and methodological knowledge of business economics nature, with the necessary supplementary cognitive supports and instrumental nature of general economic, legal and statistical mathematician, aimed at providing the knowledge to work with adequate capacity in business management functions with industrial activity, commercial and of services, as well as in organizations and public administrations and in associated economic and business counseling. In particular, the relevant knowledge are reflected in the curriculum in the credits reserved to the teachings of the sectors SECS-P / 07 (Accounting and Budget and Accounting for direction), SECS-P / 08 (Economics and Techniques of communication and Economics and the direction of companies), SECS-P / 01 (Economia decisions), SECS-S / 03 (economic Statistics), IUS / 04 (corporate Law) and IUS / 12 (tax Law). Additional credits core and supplementary are assigned for specific studies, in particular relating to: - the management of decision-making in private companies (over decision-making processes in organizations); - Administrative, legal, tax and accounting (professional technical courses, financial and currency management); - Planning and control of company management (so of Strategic Management, Social Responsibility in organizations, market analysis); - Management of institutions and public authorities (of public enterprises economics courses, Management of human resources). The combined set of such credits, together with the active way in which you plan to carry out the teaching and learning tests, are functional to facilitate the necessary capacity for knowledge and understanding of the company's economic reality with which the graduate will have to measure using independent judgment and ability to learn evolution of the economic and business systems and speaking with appropriate communication skills. The Master of Science in Managerial Economics provides advanced skills in business, economics, law and mathematical statistics. The degree program, in line with the objectives of the owner class, aims to prepare students for a qualified entry into the world of work to cover managerial and / or entrepreneurial roles in enterprises and institutions, public and private, that operate in the industrial sectors and / or services. The degree program will aim to promote the acquisition of specific knowledge on the internal dynamics of the corporate world, and to develop an attitude to identify and interpret the relations with the outside world (social, institutional economicoed). In addition to the application, the following documents must be provided: 1. Copy of a diploma to show completed Bachelor's or Master's studies, or confirmation of ongoing studies in the academic year that those studies will be completed; 2. Transcript of marks and academic results from previous higher education studies; 3. CV 4. Motivation letter Confirmation of studies may be substituted with a transcript of marks, provided that these are from the same academic year as the application. All documents which are not originally in Czech, Slovak or English must be accurately translated into English. Conditions for admission The admissions commission will will assess applicants for study on the basis of the documents submitted and give them a ranking from 1 -10 points. The point limit for accepting applicants is set by the Dean. A pre-condition for being accepted is the completion of higher education studies (a Bachelor's/Master's degree). Information on the exercise of graduates The graduates will acquire the knowledge and skills that enable them to effectively and efficiently perform analytical, conceptual, organizational, interactive and managing tasks in creating and implementing public and social policies within international context. By the same token, graduates will be able pursue an academic career in the Czech Republic or elsewhere.
