The objective of the QEA study programme is to prepare highly educated, quantitatively oriented professionals. QEA graduates will be able to use quantitative methods and tools in operational research, decision analysis, statistics and econometrics. They will have gained experience with using different software products and will be able to build comprehensive optimization and econometric models and provide deep statistical analysis. QEA graduates will be able to flexibly react to the needs of business practice and will be ready to work in multidisciplinary and multinational teams. QEA graduates will be qualified especially for positions in strategic, analytical and research departments of central government institutions, local or international consulting companies, large industrial firms, market research companies, banks and other financial institutions. Total workload (credits) 120 ECTS (ca 30 ECTS / semester; 1 ECTS = ca 26 hours of students’ activity: attending classes, studying at home, preparing assignments, etc.) Class format Traditionally, there are two types of classes at Czech universities: lectures (přednášky in Czech, abbreviated as p) and seminars (cvičení in Czech, abbreviated as c or cv).
