Introduction
The Master of Business Economics (MBE) is a one-year Master's programme taught in English. The programme is oriented towards students with an entrepreneurial personality and broad socio-economic interests who have already acquired a bachelor's degree in economics or business economics. The programme emphasises the acquisition of fundamental knowledge and skills in one area of specialisation related to the corporate world such as international business, strategy and innovation, entrepreneurship, accounting and financial economics and marketing.

Structure
Students follow the core course Strategic Management (6 ECTS), choose one major in which they select courses for 24 ECTS, one minor in which they select courses for 12 ECTS, and one free elective (3 or 6 ECTS). The Master’s Thesis (15 ECTS) is written in the domain of the major.
The major is the specialization domain of the student and may differ from the specialization of the bachelor, allowing students to fine-tune their graduation profile towards a highly specialized- or versatile profile.

As a Master in Business Economics graduate, you can pursue a career as auditor, entrepreneur, consultant, financial analyst, financial manager, project manager, sales manager or stockbroker. Graduates generally take up managerial and/or research positions in business functions at national and international institutions.
