Master in Smart Grid (Bilingual)
The Smart Grid Master is an official Master´s degree program with academic and professional guidance, offered by the University Carlos III of Madrid. The Master´s degree will last one academic year that corresponds to 60 ECTS credits.
The program provides solid technical training on subjects related to Smart Grids. Therefore the subjects will consist in cutting edge technology from the Telecommunications and Electrical Energy sectors that are responsible for the Smart Grids´ technological changes over the following years.
The Syllabus has been set out by the external commissions formed by companies and body representatives related to the advancement of Smart Grids: Gas Natural Fenosa, C.O.I.T, A.E.G.E, Indra and SIEMENS.
The Master´s degree includes in its program outside internships offered by Companies in the Energy and Telecommunications sectors where professional activities related to Smart Grids will be carried out.
The Smart Grid Master aspires to give the necessary knowledge to get familiar with the involved technologies and change-oriented leadership in electronic or telecommunication operators, service providers and the manufacturing and installing of equipment for new Smart Grid infrastructures. The Master´s degree student profile has to reflect the experience and/or training in one of the following sectors:Electrical/Industrial Engineering with knowledge of the traditional energetic model.
